A Dedication to Expert
Orthopaedic Care

Mr Shahnawaz Khan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 17 years of experience, specialising in conditions of the hip and knee. He trained at Guy's, King's & St Thomas' Medical School — one of the world's most prestigious medical institutions — graduating with his MBBS from the University of London in 2008.

Following his foundational training, Mr Khan undertook advanced surgical training on the highly regarded Stanmore programme, widely recognised as one of the UK's most demanding and comprehensive orthopaedic training pathways. This was followed by subspecialty international fellowships at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Canada, and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford — two world-leading centres of orthopaedic excellence.

Mr Khan holds a Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Sciences from the University of Oxford, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based practice and academic rigour. He also holds a BSc in Human Physiology and was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma & Orthopaedics in 2012.

He serves as Lead Surgeon for Hip and Knee Revision Surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and holds consulting positions at HCA Healthcare UK's London Bridge Hospital and London Sports Orthopaedics in the City of London. His clinical expertise spans primary and complex revision hip and knee replacements, sports knee surgery, ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, and joint preservation. He is a member of the British Hip Society.
